A look at Google+ Circles

Google+ has just launched their testing version. I have not really dug into it yet, but the Circles feature is pretty cool. You make connections with people, and put them in circle. This can be a family circle, friend circle, business circle etc. You can make your own Circle also. When you choose to share something like a photo or blog post, you can choose which Circles of people get to see this content. When you add someone to a Circle, they are notified that you have put them into one, but not which one. So I can make a Friends 1, Friends 2, Friends 3 Circles and categorize friends according to how close they are to me 🙂 Of course, if Google+ grows as expected, it will be a major competitor to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
